Solar Energy in India
In the remote tribal village of Dandapadia in Odisha (India) solar lanterns disseminated under the Lighting a Billion Lives initiative have been transforming the lives of the villagers. Among the various impacts of using the solar lanterns, the film in particular documents the impact of extended productive hours the villagers have by virtue of using the solar lanterns to carry out various income generating activities.
